It's not about making things centered around you. It's about enjoying the people your with and being in the company of good friend and good people.
Things may happen to you that you can't control. People may say and do awful things to you that take you years to get over. The truth is it does not matter. Forgive, and never forget. But while you are not forgetting remember to never lose your faith in people and yourself because of one bad egg. Not everyone is going to be a complete jerk. Keep your chin up and do your best to be someone better than they ever will be.
